2022 - 2023 COVID Guidelines
COVID procedures:
- Stay home if sick and notify the school nurse
- Contact healthcare provider and follow recommendations
- Days 0 - 5, stay home if positive (Day 0 = first day of symptoms OR positive test (if asymptomatic)
- Day 6, return to school IF fever-free for 24 hour without use of medication ANDsymptoms are better
- Days 6 - 10, recommended wearing a face mask when returning to school
Additional COVID guidance if you have been exposed:
- No quarantine - You do not need to stay home unless you develop symptoms
- Watch for symptoms for 10 days after last exposure
- Recommended wearing a face mask for 10 full days
- Recommended getting tested after at least 5 days from last exposure
- If you develop symptoms, stay home AND follow above procedure
COVID symptoms:
- Fever or chills
- Cough
- Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
- Fatigue
- Muscle or body aches
- Headache
- New loss of taste or smell
- Sore throat
- Congestion or runny nose
- Nausea or vomiting
- Diarrhea
