CHS Alum, Keegan Thompson made his first career major-league start on May 4th against the defending World Series champion Los Angeles Dodgers.
Students and staff at CHS and the Cullman Community as a whole have much to be proud in their hometown star.
The 2013 Cullman graduate tossed 3 2/3 innings for the Chicago Cubs in Game 2 of their home doubleheader at Wrigley Field — the right-hander allowed no runs and two hits to go along with a pair of strikeouts and walks.
Good luck in the future Keegan. We will be pulling for you!
Update: Keegan got his first major league hit Tuesday, May 19th. Go Cubs!
