Welcome to the Kitten class! First grade is a wonderful year of learning for your child! They will make new friends, reach new goals, and have fun as we go through the year together!

I thoroughly enjoy teaching and doing my part to help strengthen and stretch each of my students to their greatest potential. My original teaching certificate came from the University of North Carolina-Charlotte. I began teaching at Cullman City School in 2003. In December 2006, I was honored to become a National Board Teacher. The majority of my teaching experience has been in Kindergarten - 2nd grade. 

My husband and I have two daughters, a son-in-law, and two grandsons. We enjoy doing many family activities together.
